Old Friends: Megan and Fam.

Megan and I graduated from the great old Harrison High School a decade ago!  We have been friends for a long time so naturally she would call me to take her family pictures!  This was also an impromptu engagement session as her and Mike will be getting married in about 3o days (with none other than our studio hired on as the photogs).  This is the great thing about our job and friends in general – every now and again a friend from way back marries someone awesome and you get to know someone great by default. That is how I feel about Mike and the boys - just a great family all around. And don’t worry I will absolutely post pictures from Megan and Mikes special day.

Josh and Georgianne Engagment Session

My life long best friend Josh is getting married in November, it is my great honor to be the best man; it was also my honor to take engagement pictures of him and his truly wonderful fiancée, Georgianne. They met while attending law school and are absolutely perfect for each other. It was just before sunset when we started our session on the Evansville Riverfront.

Josh and I are both sneaker addicts and I encouraged him to wear his newly aquired Nike SB Dunks - can't believe I got him to walk on the grass! Our second stop of the evening was the old courthouse, I thought this was a fitting location for two engaged lawyers - not to mention an awesome piece of Evansville history.

Obviously, there is a lot of heartfelt emotion when I take pictures for friends or family and this particular session was the pinnacle of that feeling - I genuinely loved the entire experience - two best friends, one from forever ago and one I am getting to know and loving every minute of it. I wish them all the best but I know they don't need luck.
